Delete your data

You can ask Hlpr to delete your account and the personal data linked to it at any time. This also covers data received when you signed in with a WhatsApp login code.
How to request deletion
- Email support@hlpr.city from any address with the subject "Delete my Hlpr account".
- Include the mobile number registered on Hlpr.
- We will send a one-time code to that number to confirm the request is really from you.
- We confirm by email or WhatsApp once deletion is done, within 30 days.
What we delete
- Your account: name, mobile number, email and photo.
- Your saved addresses, location and booking instructions.
- For workers: verification documents and results, payout details and location history.
- Masked-call mappings linking your number to bookings.
What we keep, and why
Indian tax and accounting laws require us to keep invoices and payment records (amount, date, service) for up to 8 years. We keep these with your name and number removed wherever the law allows. We may also keep data needed for an open dispute, refund or legal claim until it is resolved.
Before you delete
Cancel or finish any active bookings first. Workers should make sure pending payouts have been received. Deletion cannot be undone; to use Hlpr again you will need a new account.
